The Gift of Love & Hope Inc. accepts applications and disburses grants based on funding availability.

The following conditions apply to our grants:​
 

• Grant recipients must be treated at a certified fertility clinic in Manitoba.
   

• Funding will be provided directly to the treating fertility clinic, not the recipient. 
   

• Grant funds are to be used only for upcoming treatment costs. Treatment that has been paid will not be reimbursed. 
   

• The grant can be used to cover expenses associated with assisted reproduction such as In Vitro Fertilization (IVF), Intrauterine Insemination (IUI), FET (Frozen Embryo Transfer), egg and sperm donation, and gestational surrogacy. The grant does not cover the storage costs and fertility medication.
   

• Grant must be used within twelve months of the date of notification to the recipient, or it will be withdrawn.
  The time frame may be extended under special circumstances upon Board approval.
   

• A $25 application fee is required to assist with administrative costs.

The Board of Directors will review each application thoroughly as part of the selection process, and choose the recipient(s). The recipient(s) will be awarded the grant within 4 weeks after the application deadline. Each applicant will be notified by email on whether or not they were awarded the grant. Applications will be retained for one year from the submission deadline and will be considered for future grant opportunities. After the one year, a new application and application fee must be submitted.
